Honeycomb Speech Therapy is a private, clinician-led practice in Northern California, providing comprehensive speech-language pathology services to pediatric and adult populations throughout Placer County, Sacramento County, and surrounding communities.

Our Team

Honeycomb Speech Therapy was founded and is owned by Yelena Gerez, M.S., CCC-SLP, an ASHA-certified, California state-licensed, bilingual speech-language pathologist fluent in English and Russian. With extensive and diverse clinical experience, Yelena has provided specialized care across a variety of healthcare and educational settings, including an inpatient trauma center, skilled nursing facilities, public schools, private practice, and a pediatric hospital in Hangzhou, China.

Throughout her career, Yelena has developed an incredible passion for the field of speech-language pathology and its profound impact on the lives of children, adults, and their families. Her diverse clinical background has shaped her comprehensive, evidence-based approach to patient care, combining clinical expertise with genuine compassion and a commitment to achieving meaningful functional outcomes.

As the owner and Clinical Director of Honeycomb Speech Therapy, Yelena is dedicated to building a practice where clinical excellence, individualized treatment, and compassionate care remain at the forefront. She is passionate about empowering patients to overcome communication and swallowing challenges, reach their fullest potential, and experience an improved quality of life.
