We are a private practice in Northern California serving Placer, Sacramento, and surrounding communities. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services for children in the areas of: speech, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, and related cognitive-communication disorders. Services are offered in clinic, school/daycare, and/or via tele-platform depending on what works best for clients and their families.

Honeycomb Speech is founded and co-owned by Yelena Gerez, an ASHA and state certified, bilingual (English and Russian) speech and language pathologist. Her unique and diverse clinical experience, including in-patient trauma center, skilled nursing facility, public school, private practice, and even a children’s hospital in Hangzhou, China, has helped her become an exceptional provider! Additionally, Yelena received specialized training in the area of Orofacial Myology: evaluation and treatment of oral and facial muscles as they relate to speech, chewing, swallowing, dentition, and overall physical and mental health.

Yelena and her team are dedicated to providing individualized and compassionate care to help clients achieve their communication goals and improve their overall, quality of life. Their services are grounded in evidence-based practices and delivered by highly skilled speech-language pathologists and speech-language pathology assistants. Their team believes in a collaborative approach to intervention that involves close communication with clients and their families to ensure that therapy is tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.
